Community Outreach

LCCS and all families associated with the school have committed to serving in our community. Our administration spends time each year planning corporate events that involve school families serving in areas of our community. In addition to this, each family as part of their family GAPS plan will develop a plan to serve as a family in our community. Our GAPS accountability allows all families to share their plans together to spur each other on. This encourages faithfulness as instructed in GOD’s word,” My friends, that’s why you must remain faithful and follow closely what we taught you in person and by our letters.” 2 Thessalonians 2:15

Fundraising

As a 501(c)(3) organization, LCCS is allowed to receive tax-deductible donations. As stated previously, our goal is to provide a biblically based atmosphere for our children to flourish academically at an affordable price for each family. To provide what has been described in previous pages, we must continually pursue fundraising opportunities to meet our budget annually. There is a fundraising commitment that each family must meet each year to assist in supplementing our annual budgetary needs. Our board and administration will provide two formal fundraising campaigns annual to assist each family meet their fundraising commitments. An example of the formal events is our annual Father/Daughter Valentine’s Dance.

We continue to encourage our families to openly discuss our vision to family members and business associates to continually pursue funding to further the growth and viability of GOD’s school here at LCCS.

Our Board and Administration actively pursues corporate donations as a part of our growth strategy. We continue to look and seek ways to invite corporations and small businesses to catch our vision and partner with LCCS to further our ability to serve GOD’s community here in the greater Charleston area.
