In this hands-on cooking class, students will build confidence in the kitchen while learning practical skills they can use for life. We’ll explore how food connects to math, science, culture, and creativity — all while making (and tasting!) delicious recipes.
Students will:
Practice kitchen safety and food handling
Strengthen math skills through measuring and fractions
Follow multi-step recipes independently
Explore basic nutrition and food science
Prepare a variety of savory and sweet dishes
Compile favorite recipes
